Adding Your First Location
Locations are the foundation of LMKwhen. Every alert rule you create monitors your locations — so the first step is adding at least one.
Steps
- Go to the Locations page in the app
- Click Add Location
- Search by address or drop a pin directly on the map
- Give it a name — use something descriptive like "123 Main St" or "Denver Office Building"
- Click Save
Your existing alert rules apply to the new location automatically.
Naming tips
Good location names make it easy to identify which property triggered an alert. Use the street address, property nickname, or unit identifier — whatever matches how you refer to it in your workflow.
Location limits
Each plan includes a maximum number of active locations. You can see your current usage and limit in Settings → Billing. If you need more locations, upgrade your plan from that page.
Managing locations
From the Locations page you can:
- View all locations on a map
- Edit a location's name or position
- Disable a location (preserves alert history without counting against your limit)
- Delete a location permanently
